From: Camp Fire Rescued Animals

This photographic catalog of cats, dogs and other animals rescued from the Camp Fire is dedicated to helping Camp Fire evacuees reunite with their pets. The animals shown in the photos are currently at the Butte County Animal Disaster Shelter at the Chico Municipal Airport. (Currently only dogs and cats are listed...other animals are in progress and coming very shortly!)

If you do not see your pet on our site please keep checking back, and please search our supporting partners' websites listed on our resources page, who have all stepped up to aid our community by taking in animals.

We will continue to update the site every day as animals come in and as pets are reunited. Our goal is to reunite you with your beloved pets. Please be patient as we manage the massive number of animals that are brought in to our care. If you see a familiar face, come to the shelter at 150 Airpark Rd, Chico. You must provide photo ID of your pet, describe unique markings or identifiers, or let us know anything else that will help us ID the pet as yours. Even if you can't take your pet right away, please come to identify him or her so we have your contact information. We are open for pet identification and reunification from 10am to 6pm.

If you have any questions, you may call our hotline at 530-895-0000 ext. 9 from 10am-6pm. If you can't get through, please keep trying, as there will not be voicemail. **Please note that our rescued animals hotline team is not at the shelter, and will not be able to answer questions about individual animals.

Our hearts are with you all.
